Tucson Mardi Gras brings a Cajun celebration to Tucson! Bringing a little bit of the Big Easy to the Old Pueblo for a 2-day event of fun & CRAZY!
TUCSON, AZ (February 2, 2020) — Mardi Gras – the biggest celebration in New Orleans, is coming to Tucson.
The creative minds behind The Slaughterhouse find their roots in the Louisiana bayou, and as such have decided to bring some of the fun & crazy traditions of Mardi Gras in the Big Easy to the Old Pueblo.
Tucson Mardi Gras will be hosting its Inaugural Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball and Festival Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22, respectively.
The Mardi Gras Festival, Saturday, February 22 from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, is FREE to the public – that’s right, no entry fee required and there will be authentic cajun food, specialty drinks, great live music, parades, a Bourbon Street Balcony Experience, and more!
The Masquerade Ball, Friday, February 21 from 7:00 pm to midnight, is a ticketed event including a cajun meal, drink tickets, live entertainment all night long, a mask, and of course – BEADS!
The team behind Tucson Mardi Gras wants to invite everyone in the great city of Tucson to come out and experience a little bit of what NOLA and the real Mardi Gras has to offer! *This event is 100% No-Scare – haunted houses will not be open in any capacity* *Masquerade Ball is 21 & up, Festival is suggested 18 & up*

Tucson Mardi Gras is located at 1102 W. Grant Road. Hours Fri. 2/21 7pm – 12am and Sat. 2/22 11am – 10pm. 2/22 Festival is Free Admission, food, drinks, and other attractions may require purchase. 2/21 Masquerade Ball tickets start at $175/person, seating is very limited and less than 50% of tickets remain.
